Originally, I thought this part of my fridge was a complete waste of space because I don't really drink pop, and beer never really lasts long enough to merit an entire section of the door, but then I remembered I do drink Root Beer.

I was on the island for Thanksgiving this weekend, and on Sunday morning went for a stroll up Mount Doug. It was a nice crisp day and on the way up we ran into a colleague of my dad's named Paul Butterfield who is putting together a great blog called Hike Every Park, about the 149 named parks in Saanich.
